Out of my ten top list Jetfire is one of favorite. I have always liked Jetfire, ever since I saw the armada series. The other thing that got me in to Jetfire is that he can combine with Optimus Prime which I think is very cool. My dad bought me Jetfire at Wall Mart for $35.00, which is an outstanding price for a leader class toy. When I picked him up to expect the box, you will not believe the box was so bad that I didn’t even want to get it anymore, but I did and I am shore glad I did.

Then when I got home I wanted to open my new transformer A.S.A.P. But when I just cut the tape off the box, I had to go somewhere with my dad and he said “if I don’t go he will return my toy”, so I had to go. Then when I got back home I took my toy to my room so no one could bother me. Then when the toy was finally out I just stared at it for hours. My mom came in my room and told me that “it’s not going to transform if you just keep staring at it”.

When I stared to transform it to its alt mode, it was pretty frustrating for me. When I finally transformed it in to its SR-71 black bird, its pretty long like; if you have transformers Unicron; Jetfire is almost taller than him. The robot mode is the best mode out of the other Jetfire modes that Hasbro has released; come on you know that I am right.

Bio:
JETFIRE grew tired of war a long time ago. The reckless ambition of the DECEPTICONS, and the senseless violence of their war sickened him, and so he left CYBERTRON to go into hiding. The form he eventually chose on Earth seemed appropriate for one who wished to remain unseen. He slumbered in peace for years. Now, reawakened by the arrival of the war on Earth, he decides once again to enter the fight – this time on the side of the AUTOBOTS, and this time to end it for good, whatever the cost.

Well, I got Optimus Prime on my birthday last year and I am not talking about the first movie one, I am taking about the Revenge of the fallen one. When I saw that I got Optimus prime as a present form my dad and sister, I was so excited on what I got for my birthday. I didn’t get a chance to open my toy, because I wanted to open my other presents, like they say “save the best for last” and that is exactly what I did. Then when I had the chance to open it I went all at it, but unfortunately I  got the twist-ties which we all now is a pain to untwist. Once I had all of the twist-ties out I realized I had forgotten all about the clear plastic bands not rubber bands.

Now when I finally got out Optimus Prime out of the box I was pretty amazed; on how he came out. At that time he was my first Optimus Prime and you can only imagine how excited I was to get him. It took me a long time to transform it to alt mode, because the instructions didn’t say that you have to lift his chest piece and bend his head down (you should take that as a tip when assembling this one). It didn’t take so long for me to transform Optimus back to robot mode, it was very easy. I can’t say that this one is better than the 2007 movie one, but I have seen pictures of the 2007 Optimus Prime and it doesn’t even compare to the new Optimus Prime that we have now.

The robot mode is so fantastic and a whole lot better then the 2007 one. This mold  has two yes two swords on both hands, which for me is so awesome. Prime doesn’t have a huge backpack like the first one,it’s a hole lot less of kibble. If you go back and watch the first movie, and go to the part when Optimus first makes his appearance, and if you have the first movie prime and the second and now compare them to the movie one. Now for the alt mode: the alt mode a very sleek truck that is 20x better than the first movie one. His alt mode has sound effects which just makes a truck sound, it took me a while to find the button that makes the sound effects. The button is hidden on the back and by-the-way the instructions don’t say where the button is, and that really annoyed me.

With the destruction of MEGATRON, OPTIMUS PRIME thought that he was finally, after millions of years, at peace. Little did he know that the escape of STARSCREAM would draw dozens of new DECEPTICONS to Earth. The desire that burns brightest in his Spark is that the war will soon end. He is determined to see that end come, and so he works with his human comrades and the other AUTOBOTS to hunt the DECEPTICONS that have come to Earth, and destroy them, one by one.

They have taken the time to watch both versions simultaneously and have broken down all the differemces. Surpisingly, there are many, but most last just a few seconds at best, hence creating all the confusion.

Here is an excerpt of their analysis.

Contentwise, the IMAX version barely has more to offer than the theatrical release, even if to fans of glossy robot action every second might be held dear. The depiction of the respective action sequences in the bigger format, however, is the distinct advantage of this version, since a 16:9 TV is in those moments filled and shows more picture information compared to the other scenes in the 2,35:1 format, without annoying widescreen bars in the way or having to zoom in (which leads to a loss of picture information).
For fans of the flick its a definite must-buy.

The runtimes of the described scenes refer to the theatrical release. The other differences in runtimes result from rounding up/down single described scenes to comlete resp. half seconds and from shots containing a few frames more/less which aren’t included in this article for lack of relevance.
